Of course they were going to make a sequel. This game has had a ridiculously powerful influence on gaming culture and now thanks to some clever steam patching by Valve we can the see the next stage

Latest post on the Playstation blog indicates that the cause for the problem error 8001050F, which saw people not being able to use trophy enabled games or connect to PSN has been found and that it is a bug in the systems internal clock that saw a problem in 2010 being a leap year and bringing up the date as being the 29th rather than the 1st.

Sony say that all symptoms are resolved and users should be able to use their systems normally.
